Haven't seen it? Well now you will. Antarctic researchers pick up an infestation - a long-frozen critter thawed-off and cranky. And you thought that bout of Chlamydia was nasty. This early 80s gem features special effects that still hold up well, not to mention one of Kurt Russell's many fine B-movie performances as a bad-ass. When's Oscar gonna give this guy his lifetime achievement award? Sure, Russell's career has had its share of schlock, but he'd have to do "Soldier: The Musical, Part IV!!" to spend all the artistic capital he banked with The Thing.
