Hamish II

You like the name Hamish - again!

I have good news, my disciples. Through a triumphant combination of my persuasive powers and my wife's generosity, a decision has been made: Hamish is the tentative name of our son, should our burgeoning offspring turn out to be male.

Unfortunately, you, the readers, can take absolutely no credit for this victory, seeing as none of you commented when your opinions were solicited. But I am a forgiving lord. Perhaps you were intimidated. It's certainly understandable. Just as defacing a Bible would be deemed sacrilege by those silly Christians (http://www.wels.net/cgi-bin/site.pl?1518&cuTopic_topicID=41&cuItem_itemID=16850), you may have felt that your words weren't worthy to appear on the same page as mine. And it's true - they aren't.

But I have bestowed my grace upon you and given you permission to write, even if what you write isn't fit for my sanctified consumption. For today is a day for celebration: The heir to my throne has been named.
