Harry Potter

You like a funny little series of books by a British author named J.K. Rolling.

The star of this series for young people is a student wizard named Harry Potter. Each of the seven books covers one year in his education at Hogwart's, a school for young wizards. There's a villain, of course - named Voldemort - as well as Potter's merry band of sidekicks.

I'm not sure why this series hasn't gotten more exposure. I just started reading them in the past month, and I was pleasantly surprised - they're quite good.

So, if you like stories of the fantastic, with mages and magic, warlocks and werewolves, the Harry Potter books might fit the bill (the first volume is called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone: http://www.amazon.com/Harry-Potter-Philosophers-Stone/dp/0747532745/ref=sr_1_8/102-2124205-8286559?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1189545313&sr=8-8). And if you've heard of Rolling, and know of other things she's written, please get back to me with the titles - I can't find anything about her on the Internet.
