This was one of the most difficult decisions I've ever had to make. South Park has given us so many incredible characters: Mr. Hanky and Towelie, Chef Vader and Butters, Jimmy and, who else, Cartman. But Timmy wins the title: Best South Park Character Ever. No other character beats him in quality. Divide minutes of air time by laughs, and he's the hands down winner, averaging one laugh per 7.3 seconds. No one else comes close. Even Towelie gets a comparatively weak one laugh per 19.6 seconds.

No, Timmy is the god of South Park. And his best line ever was in the Cripple Fight episode, when he shouted his name: Timmy! That was genius.
